Stop the Violence: It starts with screams but must never end in silence

This happens in Europe as well, in developed countries, not only in traditional, patriarchal environments.
Statistics show that 12 % to 15 % of women in Europe face violence in the home every day.It does not have to be related only with 'domestic' violence. It can happen to you at work, on the street, at home, in everyday female-male communication, and seems like you cannot do anything about it. Recorded video hidden in the pocket doesn't work as legal process in many countries is long and is under corrupcy. Women are unprotected.
It also doesn't have to do with your education level, or if you are housewife, or young professional, calm person doing her own business, until someone comes and start to abuse/harass you. Verbaly and physically.
Someone brought laws to protect women, I am not femisnist, but when someone is abusing you in one, the other or both ways, you as a female should have some protection. It is not only the pain that can pass, but also the pain that for you as a normal persona makes introvert or wrong picture about male population (akka generalizations, etc.).

It is happening to many women, many of them are silent, many of them are loosing their cases, and many - maybe even worse: the faith.
The Council of Europe – Europe’s leading human rights organisation - has decided it is time it stopped. It has launched a campaign in its member countries to criminalise domestic violence, ensure support for victims and foster new attitudes so that violence against women in the home will no longer be tolerated. Everyone has a role to play. This site shows what is being done and where to combat violence against women - You are also concerned.
